Leaving May 28th… heading to St. Louis

We are planning on visiting Holly’s sister for a few days after all, as their continuing education course was canceled.  As we leave their home, we will determine the quickest route to Richland as Susie’s DD has been moved up to June 12th.

John has been putting the finishing touches on the RV, scrubbing the last of the dirt.  Now, it’s time to load the food and clothes and hit the road!

About Holly Ritger

I am retired, enjoying being a grandmother, traveling to National Parks and other interesting places in our RV with my husband of 43 years, and visiting with friends and family. Hobbies: photography, learning about wildflowers and birds, and trees, and reading from my kindle.

Safe travels Holly. I see y’all are taking part of the route we took. We didn’t go through Nebraska, instead traveled accross Kansas into Colorado. Went north from Denver into Wyoming to Hwy 80, which is where it looks like y’all will be traveling. We found Hwy 80 accross Wyoming to be a little drab. There was places that had nice scenery, but over all it was drab. Lots of small towns with nothing to offer. It was an easy road to drive though, and as it is, you can not cross the US without going through some drabness. However, it is not as dull as Kansas or Nebraska.
Tell your sister hello and we will see you in Washington!
