Day 2: Miles of Interstate and Lots of Tractor Trailer Trucks

Wednesday, May 29, 2013.  Benton, IL KOA – campsite 14.  284 miles, central time. Elevation: 444 feet.

We haven’t left the interstate to sightsee, and we are seeing lots of tractor trailer trucks and rest stops as we travel.  Nothing worth taking a photo of…  It was a very warm day, sunny and 90s.

Weather report:  calls for Super cell storms in Kansas and Missouri with a tornado index of 6.0; possibility of heavy rain, hail and tornadoes as we near St Louis.
