Day 14: Sprinkler, Doctor and Waiting for Baby…

Day 14: Monday, June 10, 2013.

Kevin went to work and the Grandmas came over to help Susie with Eliza. Susie is starting to hobble around with one crutch or no crutches. I’m glad the sprain isn’t as bad as we had thought…

Eliza played in the sprinkler, had a bath and thoroughly enjoyed her peanut butter sandwich. Holly and Susie went to the doctor, and John spent the morning on his laptop and washing Big Red.

About Holly Ritger

  1. Holly, so glad everyone made it there safely. So sorry to hear about Susie’s fall. Glad she’s ok. Waiting for the baby is so hard! My internet connections are few and far between. Tell Sherry her photos are great as always. Everyone looks so happy.

Holly, your daughter seems to have inherited your knack for sustaining ankle injuries at the most inopportune times! Almost forty years ago didn’t you manage to break your ankle two weeks before moving from a fourth floor walk-up in Hoboken to a second and third floor walk-up?! Bob and I still remember that move! šŸ˜¦
    I’m glad Susie’s on the mend. šŸ™‚

oh, Carol… I was remembering that move myself, recently! January 18, 1976… I fell at camp and broke it in a frozen tire rut. You got all the details right – moving from 4th flr to 2nd & 3rd. I don’t know how we could have moved without you guys!
