Monday, July 8, 2013. Richland, WA. Elevation: 384 feet.
Once the RV repairman and John were working on the hot water heater problem, I drove Big Red over to Susie’s for the last day in Richland. The plan was to take Hazel to the pediatrician for a weight check to make sure she was gaining weight with all the spitting up and discomfort she has been feeling. The doc checked her thoroughly, and we left with an Rx for reflux. If that’s the problem, the drug will fix her up quickly.
We picked John up at the RV park on the way home and John and I went to Fred Meyer to stock up the RV. After stowing the supplies and cleaning a bit, we headed back to Susie’s. Eliza was delighted to see us again after her long weekend at the frisbee tournament in Seattle. She and grandpa horsed around on the floor and then it was time for our Chinese feast, provided by Carolyn and Nick Cramer and the kids’ favorite Chinese Restaurant. I went with Kevin to pick up the order and was amazed by the size of the take out box. So many interesting dishes to try! It was all delicious and I’m glad we were still here to take part. We said our final goodbyes after dinner and Eliza went up to bed, and we headed back to our RV campsite.
